This performance showcases rhythm, musicality, and intricate dexterity all while telling the story of a man that is going through a tough time. The ensemble of women do their best to lift the man's spirit, but in the end they realize he is the only one capable to do so.
Got It.
Inspired by every independent, strong, intelligent woman in her life, Natasha created this piece to showcase the empowerment of women everywhere. She envisions this piece taking place after a dispute in which these dancers were told that they wouldn’t be able to do something because they are women. Their response? They “Got It.”

In this collaborative effort, choreographers Luke Anderson and Natasha Wakim explore what happens when tap dance and ballet encounter one another. This story driven piece, showcases a journey to find appreciation for the opposing style.

In collaboration with composer, Chris Prather, the Choreographer, Natasha Wakim was able to have a unique experience creating movement in music and music in movement. This piece reveals a need to try and fit in with others and the agony that comes hand in hand, recognizing that individuality is so important and so under emphasized.
